PREPARETION

Put a pot of salt water to boil (about 5 liters / 1.3 gallons). Brown the peeled garlic clove in a pan and remove it, leaving the oil flavored. Add the peeled tomatoes and crash them with a fork. Let it cook until the sauce has been reduced. Cook the spaghetti al dente and add them to the sauce along with the chopped basil and sprinkle with plenty of parmesan.

You can also use fresh ripe tomatoes. In that case cut them into coarse pieces and cook for 15 minutes in a saucepan with a lid, adding a glass of water. Blend them with an immersion blender and cook the sauce until it is reduced. Add oil, salt and basil to the end.
