The recipe for making gratin tomatoes, with breadcrumbs, basil and olive oil is quick and easy. In less than an hour it allows you to bring a healthy and tasty summer dish to the table.

16 plum tomatoes sammarzano like
1 cup of breadcrumbs
2 cloves of garlic
2 bunches of fresh basil
1/2 cup of olive oil
salt and pepper to taste
To prepare the tomatoes au gratin you must first remove the stalk and cut them in half to empty the seeds with a spoon. In a blender, finely chop the basil and garlic.
Add oil, breadcrumbs, salt and pepper.
Stir until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. With the help of a spoon, stuff the tomatoes and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Sprinkle them with a little olive oil and cook them in the preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 40 minutes.
Remove from the oven, let stand for five minutes before serving.
